We are pleased to annonunce that Andy Reed MP has agreed to be a Patron of the Bless Network, and specifically for our appeal to raise the funds need to buy and develop Bethanie. Andy has been Labour and Co-Operative MP for Loughborough since 1997 and is well known as an active Chrisitan within the Parliamentary system. He serves on the Council of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK and the Boards of Reference of Oasis Trust, Interserve and Christian Solidarity Worldwide. He is also very active in Christians in Parliament and The National Prayer Breakfast. Known for his passionate commitment to trade justice and development issues, Andy has travelled extensively in developing nations and has helped to launch both the Micah Challenge and the Bible Society’s Poverty and Justice Bible.
“The more I hear of Bless’s vision” Andy says, ‘The more I want to cheer it on. We need such a movement that will empower and inspire young people to live lives of sefless service. Whether they serve in church, community, business or politics, they will serve more fruitfully if they have truly learned to live for others.”
Welcome, Andy – we appreciate your support and look forward to working with you.

Wow, you/he sounds like a modern day William Wilberforce. God bless you!
