I am the prison chaplian who spoke briefly with Gerard at Spring Harvest Minehead in which he responded re ways of expression in presenting the Christian message into contemporary society.
Would you please advise where to find advice and information to further consider how society is changing, and how we need to change our presentation to effectively communicate with them; including – what are those changes? and are the changes in presentation being effective ?

. . . or are you still writing it ?

I’m based at Highfield Church in Southampton -and editor of in:spire our termly newsletter -circulation 4000. We’re planning an edition for Easter to distribute in parish. P.S. How good is your memory? -once upon a time many years ago in Exeter you looked round our house with a view to renting -when Jan and I were off to teach in a Bible College in Nairobi. I was employed by Isca Christian Fellowship.

Just to say ‘Thank you so much’ once again for a really inspirational week-end at Glenwood; (Oct 16/17)
Your ‘throw away’ lines eg. ‘Don’t turn your congregation into an audience!’
and ‘Don’t hate the person – love the person, but hate the evil that is in them!’
Will be much quoted (and, of course, credited to you)!
I can’t wait to download your talks – I’m sure I missed lots whilst trying to make notes!!

I received information about “Bless” from a friend of mine in England who attended the URC General Assembly. I have been working as an Assistant Pastor here in France for the past Six years having retired from the URC ministry in 2003. I am serving in Millau in the Aveyron. The name of our church is “Eglise Protestante La Source d’eau Vive- Millau” meeting at 1747 Avenue de L’Aigoual
12100 MILLAU. The Church is one of the local congregations of La CEEF – Communion des Eglises de l’Espace Francophone.

Do you know our Pastor principal Jean Elie Téféri? Maybe we could encourage one another in the Lord and pray for each other as we seek to preach the Gospel here in France.
