Bless: Introduce yourself…

NK: Hello! I’m Naomi. I graduated from university this year where I studied French and History. I like reading, baking, laughing, speaking French and going for walks – especially in Autumn. I also love spending time in France so it’s great to be here with Bless!

Bless: What are you up to at the moment?

NK: I have just started a 6 month internship with Bless. Last week was training and teaching at Béthanie which was great and now I’m in Caen where I will be based for most of the time, with a couple of days a week at Béthanie. In Caen I will be helping with the student group and doing some volunteering, I can’t wait!

Bless: What is your experience of being a part of the Bless movement and how do you see yourself part of it ?

NK: I came on summer missions in July and really enjoyed my time with Bless. The teaching and the way we were encouraged to do mission in Caen with a heart to bless people and with prayer at the centre was really great. So much so that I felt I had to come back and continue to be a part of what God is doing here!

Bless: What are your expectations for the year ?

NK: I am hoping to really get stuck in with what is going on here at Bless and contribute what I can! I also hope that this will be a time of personal growth and going deeper with God. I would really like to leave here with a more intimate relationship with him and a greater sense of who he is and who I am in him. Then I will have firm foundations for the future.

Bless: Describe Bless in 3 words :

NK: Joy. Family. Prayer.

Bless: How can we pray for you ?

NK: That I would grow deep roots with God during my time here, getting to know him better, living more intimately with him and learning more about my identity in him. Recently the first verse of Psalm 127 has been on my mind: ‘Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.’ I’m praying that this be true for my time here and beyond! .
