Perpignan
Popular tourist destination Perpignan is the home to Centre Chrétien du Roussillon (CCR) which is a vibrant Protestant church. CCR is a French language church, however, there are many cultures represented. The community comprises families and a strong youth work with teenagers and students. Though France is commonly known as a spiritual desert CCR is successfully running Alpha and youth alpha courses with good results. The church also works with local charities making an impact on the local community.
the bless network team members Dave and Amy Roche and their family live locally and work with CCR along with placements of gap year students working in the church.
Alongside the work with CCR, Dave and Amy have planted an international English speaking community called Riverchurch in the region. This is a response to a heartfelt calling from God to minister to local Internationals and express church in a modern European setting where God is often regarded as irrelevant. This plant has a real desire and commitment to pursuing a genuine relationship with Jesus, relevantly reaching out to our world and building an authentic community. Our year2bless gap year students serve both in CCR and in Riverchurch, and are involved in the local community. Over the years Perpignan has become a popular destination for our heart2bless missions, as the place has captured the hearts of those who have come to pray for it.

I received information about “Bless” from a friend of mine in England who attended the URC General Assembly. I have been working as an Assistant Pastor here in France for the past Six years having retired from the URC ministry in 2003. I am serving in Millau in the Aveyron. The name of our church is “Eglise Protestante La Source d’eau Vive- Millau” meeting at 1747 Avenue de L’Aigoual
12100 MILLAU. The Church is one of the local congregations of La CEEF – Communion des Eglises de l’Espace Francophone.
Do you know our Pastor principal Jean Elie Téféri? Maybe we could encourage one another in the Lord and pray for each other as we seek to preach the Gospel here in France.
May God bless richly the work you are doing in the name of Jesus.
