The Bless Network is launching a new gap year opportunity in 2010 for students aged 18 and over, combining community living with cross-cultural mission and personal formation.
Join the community at Bethanie, our missional training centre in Normandy, France for 3, 6 or 9 months. Enter into a rhythm of daily prayer, shared meals, online study and work. Learn to live for others by serving the local church through youth ministry, schools work and acts of kindness.
A Live For Others year out will fit into and build upon the existing year2bless framework of prayer, study and service.
Prayer: students staying at Bethanie will naturally become part of community life and participate in the rhythm of prayer, shared meals and heart2bless weekends.
Study: students will continue to set aside time during the week to study and communicate with an online tutor. There’s also potential to explore discussion groups, journaling and reflective practice based upon the study material.
Service: students will have opportunity to serve at Bethanie through practising hospitality and general upkeep of buildings and land, and serve the local church through youth ministry, schoolswork and cleaning tasks.
