Globally famous for its cheese, Livarot is a town of 3,000 that since January 2016 has been the centre of the much larger commune now known as Livarot-Pays-D’Auge. The town is also home to a thriving cider industry.

Our church-plant here currently meets at Bethanie, our missional centre, and supports a home-group in Livarot itself. We are seeking to bless the town of Livarot in a number of ways, notably:

  • Through mission teams and interns trained at Bethanie, who offer children’s clubs and other local activities.
  • Through Alpha courses, operated in partnership with the Catholic church.
  • By making the facilities of Bethanie available to local community groups, including a popular English conversation group.
  • By extending an invitation to local people to attend as day-visitors when we have special events and conferences at Bethanie.

In addition our mission teams and student groups have regularly prayer-walked the town, praying for its blessing, prosperity and peace.
